September Bibliotherapy News from Me: Exciting Bibliotherapy Initiatives in the Pipeline

Posted by Bijal Shah on

Dear friends,

I hope this note finds you well. It’s been an exciting month in the world of bibliotherapy, and I’m delighted to share some wonderful news and upcoming opportunities with you.

Book News

  • On 4th September, the paperback edition of Bibliotherapy: The Healing Power of Reading was released. Thank you so much for your continued support of my work — it is truly appreciated.

  • I’m also thrilled to announce that the Chinese edition of the book is now published, making bibliotherapy accessible to even more readers around the globe.

International Conference in Brazil
Earlier this month, I had the privilege of speaking at the first-ever International Conference on Bibliotherapy in Latin America, hosted in Brazil. It was inspiring to share ideas and connect with practitioners and researchers from across the world who are advancing the power of books in healing.

Decline in Children's Reading
You might have read about the increasing decline in reading amongst youth. But it doesn’t have to be that way for your child. Our self-paced Raising A Reader & Storyteller Online Course gives you simple, practical tools to spark a love of books, nurture imagination, and become a lifelong bookworm. You can sign up for this here.

Lastly if you'd like to catch up with more bibliotherapy news and updates, you can do so on my Substack, which also hosts the podcast Bibliotherapy with Bijal Shah.

Thank you as always for being part of this journey with me — your encouragement and enthusiasm for bibliotherapy is what makes this community so special.

With gratitude,
Bijal Shah
